Location and Travel
The Sitka Arts & Science Festival is located on the historic Sheldon Jackson Campus in the picturesque coastal community of Sitka, Alaska. Spectacular views of the surrounding ocean and mountains, as well as easy access to the Tongass National Forest, provide a ideal setting for a relaxing and engaging trip. Dormitories, dining hall, athletic center, classrooms, art studios, and practice areas are all located on site. The campus is a short walk from downtown Sitka, and the kick-off event will be held in Sitka’s Odess Theater.
Throughout the year, dozens of events are hosted on our campus. In addition to the Fine Arts Camp, the campus is also home to the Hames Center, the Sheldon Jackson Museum, and the Sitka Sound Science Center.
